Christianna Thomas

Christianna Thomas (she/her) is a graduate of Heights High School in Houston, Texas and a student at Georgetown University. She has galvanized students to protest against the HISD takeover in schools, communities, and at school board meetings.

As Programs Director of Students Engaged in Advancing Texas (SEAT), Christianna has organized statewide convenings and fellowship programs that have equipped hundreds of students with skills and confidence for policy advocacy. Her work with SEAT has included collaborative research on youth digital surveillance, keynote speaking engagements at national conferences, and Capitol Hill advocacy for public school funding.
