Say no to prageru in schools
On Tue, Aug. 29 at 9am, the Texas State Board of Education will be meeting in Room 1-104 at the William B. Travis Building in Austin. On the SBOE's agenda:
Implementing HB 1605, which allows outside materials like PragerU in schools as “open educational resources.”
Adopting science textbooks which might not include thorough education on climate change and evolution.
As a member of Texas Freedom Network's Teach the Truth coalition, we need to tell the SBOE that students deserve a truthful education.
