Valentina Rivas Labarca

Valentina Rivas Labarca is a dedicated student leader and advocate committed to empowering young people to engage in civic life and fight for equitable policies in Texas. Through her work with Students Engaged in Advancing Texas (SEAT) and her involvement within Model UN, Valentina has collaborated with political organizations and elected officials to mobilize students and educate communities on the importance of social advocacy. She has helped organize actions against book bans and Senate Bill 13, written op-eds on the importance of fighting against ignorance, and consistently spoken out against gender-based inequality. Grounded in her background in debate, Model UN, and community organizing, Valentina believes that advocacy is not just a responsibility but a powerful tool for creating meaningful and lasting change.
