Kayla Madrid

Kayla Madrid is a dedicated student leader at The University of Texas at El Paso and the Fellowship Coordinator for SEAT's Mary Beth Tinker Federal Policy Fellowship. In this role, she works to empower and mentor emerging student advocates, helping guide them through a rigorous federal policy program that equips young people with the tools to engage in grassroots advocacy and bring youth voices to the forefront of policymaking.

Rooted in community and driven by a passion for service, Kayla has built her experience through local and federal government offices, as well as student leadership, where she focuses on expanding access, civic engagement, and opportunity for young people. She is committed to fostering the youngest generation of changemakers and advancing policies that reflect and uplift the communities they represent!
